The Vow.
you know, the reason i think everyone is so disappointed with the vow is because they’re expecting it to be like Dear John or The Notebook. If people actually looked into the movie, they’d know that the vow is based on a true event, not a nicholas sparks book. I’m sorry, but real life can’t be as perfect as the movies.
I went in knowing it wasn’t going to be like the notebook, knowing it wasn’t going to be like dear john, or a walk to remember, and i was very impressed. the movie was beautiful. i’ll admit, the ending really really pissed me off but i understand that too. if you think about it, the movie is based on a true story. if they DIDN’T end it then, then the movie woulda never ended. I do wish they would have ended it with a slight glance of them falling back in love though. Like Paige saying, “i love you” and then the screen pulling back. that would have been cuter.
but i loved the movie. i will be buying it (:
